With Adept reviewing and modernising our out-of-date software development workflows, we are now able to integrate our strategic initiatives as well as manage our day-to-day activities. We now truly have a tool that solves all problems.

Before the review we had a rough idea of what processes we should be improving. The Adept review gave us clear and actionable recommendations for how to prepare our team to scale that addressed processes we were concerned about, and other areas of risk we had not considered. Addressing the risks identified by Adept will definitely help the team continue to deliver quality software as we grow.

Adept’s consultant Ian Gray was instrumental in supporting, mentoring & training the ECMS team in its transition to Agile. This has set us up for success in this crucial phase of the project. Ian’s pragmatic – rather than dogmatic – views on Agile eased the pain of the transition; an approach that sat well with the team and key stakeholders. His inclusive style and his ability to communicate at all levels is a testament to his and Adept’s capability.

We engaged Adept to oversee the selection of, and transition to, new infrastructure providers to secure council’s operations for the coming years. They successfully managed the successful transition to the new vendors, which are providing significant ongoing cost savings to the Kangaroo Island Council. The new services were implemented with minimum of disruption to day-to-day activities, delivering a more robust IT capability, with faster, more reliable and cost effective network connectivity to the mainland.

Maxmine Systems faced a critical point of growth in late 2018; scaling our number clients, increasing our product scope and tripling our development team size which significantly increased the complexity of our operations.
