THE ACTION
- Adept documented the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Developed documentation that builds on the Quality Management System (QMS) that:
- Incorporates insights from key stakeholders
- Allows for the flexible nature of project methodologies (Agile/ Hybrid/ Waterfall)
- Information gathered was used to develop a roadmap and staged implementation plan that will guide the adoption of the revised software development process
THE OUTCOME
How needs were met
Adept listened to our requirements and worked with us to help us better understand our problem. Through a series of workshops and written deliverables Adept delivered the outcome we required.
The impact
Adept provided the breadth of experience required to help design and implement our new software development process. Ian and Rob understood the problem, and quickly went to work understanding how we did things and what we needed to improve on. This was developed into a final product which is now live and in use throughout the organisation.
Behaviours and values observed
Adept consultants were very professional and had a wealth of experience between them. They understood the task and the nuances of how we do things within elmTEK. They listened to what we wanted from the engagement, and recommended improvements where they felt it was necessary. They were very open, friendly and easy to communicate with.
